Manchester United U23 defender Max Taylor returns to training after cancer treatment

Manchester United U23 defender Max Taylor has returned to practice after responding to cancer therapy.
Even the signed his first professional contract with United in 2018 but started chemotherapy in February of this year.
After successfully undergoing treatment, as he continues his return into this full-time schedule Taylor joined the group to get training for the very first time and will be involved intermittently.
He explained:”I’m tremendously proud and happy to be back to the pitch together along with my team-mates and friends.
”Without the valuable aid of my loved ones, team-mates and of course the nurses and nurses, my return to coaching in this stage would not have been possible.
”I need to thank all the club’s health and sports science staff I’ve worked with during my rehabilitation.
”The next thing to do is to continue working hard at the gym and from the grass to hopefully make my return to the pitch.”
United start their Europa League effort against Kazakhstani winners Astana on Thursday.
